What "Green Means to OPM"

No word is thrown around more in today's economy than green. At OPM we use it as a synonym for recycled. Our commitment to recycling and the environment is second to none. All of our fine gold and silver products are produced entirely from recycled sources in North America. Our bullion products meet ASTM B562-95 for 9999 Gold and ASTM B413-97a for 9995 Silver.  OPM is a ISO 9001 : 2008 Certified and a ISO 14001 : 2004 Certified  facility (Environmental).

OPM meets current environmental regulatory standards for both air and water discharge. Our ongoing waste reduction program reduces overall waste shipments.

Our active (AML) anti-laundering program and Conflict Minerals Policy governs our policy of accepting only recycled material.  As part of this policy, we will only accept material from recycled sources in North America.  Our Know Your Customer Form requires acknowledgement from our suppliers that their material is recycled materials and that their materials do not originate from the DRC.

We believe we are the only refiner who can boast;

• A spotless history of AML compliance and corporate responsibility
• The ability to meet both ISO and ASTM standards
• And No materials have been refined from the DRC region

OPM sought and received certifications from a third(3rd) party surveyor,  Scientific Certification Systems(SCS), who acknowledges OPM provides bullion that meets the standard for 100% Recycled Content.  SCS also surveyed and acknowledges that our operations meet the standards for Responsible Recycled Source Gold and Responsible Recycled  Source Silver.
